    Atlantic Traffic & Design Engineering, LLC is an affiliate of the Bohler Engineering group of companies. Atlantic Traffic & Design Engineering provides specialized Civil Engineering Consulting Services in the field of Traffic and Transportation Engineering. Our firm has completed thousands of projects throughout the Eastern United States for a variety of corporate, private, institutional, and municipal/public clients. The team is headed by seasoned Professional Engineers with over 100 years of combined experience, and is supported by expert staff positioned throughout our vast service area.     Responsibilities

    • Traffic Engineering Studies
    • Geometric Roadway Design
    • Traffic Signal Design
    • MPT Design
    • Complete simple DOT permitting
    • Prepare permit application documentation, review letter responses and submittal packages for agency reviews
    • Conduct field measurements of intersections, roadways, and parking lots
    • Photograph study areas and vehicle operations
    • Other miscellaneous traffic related office and field duties as required to meet project specific needs
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • BS in Civil Engineering
    • 3-6 years of experience with roadway design and/or traffic work
    • EIT certification
    • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills
    • Demonstrated ability to follow direction and work in a team environment
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Competent skills with:
      • AutoCAD and/or Microstation
      • Synchro/SimTraffic
      • Microsoft Office
