    Atlantic Traffic & Design Engineering, LLC is an affiliate of the Bohler group of companies. Atlantic Traffic & Design Engineering provides specialized Civil Engineering Consulting Services in the field of Traffic and Transportation Engineering. Our firm has completed thousands of projects throughout the Eastern United States for a variety of corporate, private, institutional, and municipal/public clients. The team is headed by seasoned Professional Engineers with over 100 years of combined experience, and is supported by expert staff positioned throughout our vast service area. Our offices provide local hands-on knowledge of access criteria, design standards, specifications and permitting requirements.  Our reputation is built on quality and quality is everything to us.   


    • Conduct field measurements of intersections, roadways, and parking lots
    • Conduct traffic engineering studies, including traffic volume and parking occupancy counts
    • Summary and presentation of traffic data with use of various software applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat
    • Traffic analysis with use of Highway Capacity Software, Sim Traffic and Synchro software
    • Edit various traffic plans with use of AutoCAD and MicroStation software
    • Other miscellaneous traffic related office and field duties as required to meet project specific needs
    • Other duties as assigned


    • Bachelor's or Masters’ Degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering fields
    • 0-3 years of related experience
    • EIT certification preferred
    • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills
    • Demonstrated ability to follow direction and work in a team environment
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Competent skills with:
      • Synchro/SimTraffic
      • Microsoft Office
      • AutoCAD and/or Microstation
